program used : Vue Esprit and Bryce

A simple picture I know....it was an experiment to see if I could transfer some large rocks I purchased for Bryce into Vue. It can be done :excited:
The small stones are a Vue ecosystem.

You can make your own stones just as good as this in Vue alone  Try sculpting and "clipping terrains, and make them symmetrical, then just make a few and put them into a boolean object, and watch how one double-sided terrain "eats a hole" into the other...It can be a tricky since you need to make sure you get no stray floating bits, but that's how I made the rocks in this peice here [link]

That sounds like an awful lot of work! I took the easy way around it and just exported them as a terrain brushes. I figured, why not use something I'd already bought...simple and fast ;-)
Very nice job on the stones in your picture by the way!

You know, this just can't keep going on like this. The progression is simple:

You Post

I Drool

I Fave.

"There are things that music can do that language could never do, that painting could never do, or sculpture. Music is capable of going directly to the source of the mystery. It doesn't have to explain it. It can simply celebrate it."
